Is it possible to incorporate free-text responses to questions? I have not been able to figure out how to do that or even whether it's possible. Thanks in advance for a response.

Please ignore my question. I figured it out! It involves selecting the question style during the process of adding a question.

Correct. To add a free-text response, choose "Add question" and then change the question style dropdown to "Text entry".
